Projects & References
Every project tells a different story.
Some were built for clients, while others are my own long-term projects where I continuously test ideas, SEO strategies, and the growing influence of AI on how people discover information online.
Client Projects
Sipi Falls Tours – Website Redesign & Technical Fixes
A tourism website redesigned to better support bookings, improve usability, and provide a solid foundation for long-term growth.
Project Highlights
✓ Website redesign
✓ Content restructuring
✓ SEO foundation
✓ Image optimization
✓ Performance improvements
✓ WordPress management
✓ Technical troubleshooting
✓ User-focused navigation
The Challenge
The client wanted a website that was easier to manage and worked as a practical business tool rather than simply an online brochure.
The existing website had grown difficult to maintain, lacked a clear content structure, and did not effectively support visitors looking to book a tour.
My Approach
I started by understanding how potential customers search for tours and what information they need before making a booking.
From there, I restructured the content, improved the navigation, optimized images for faster loading, resolved technical issues, and created a website that the client could confidently manage without relying on a developer for every change.
The Result
The result is a modern, easy-to-manage website with a clearer structure, improved performance, and content that better supports both visitors and search engines.
Most importantly, the website now represents the business professionally and provides a much stronger foundation for attracting new customers.
Mount Elgon Trekkers
Helping an experienced local guide build an independent website for his business and connect directly with international travelers.
Project Highlights
✓ Website strategy
✓ Business positioning
✓ Content planning
✓ WordPress development
✓ SEO-ready structure
✓ Tourism website
✓ Scalable architecture
✓ Independent brand presence
The Challenge
Before launching his own website, Ramazan worked primarily as a subcontracted guide for a local lodge.
His bookings depended almost entirely on the lodge’s occupancy, leaving him with little control over his own business and no direct way to reach potential customers.
My Approach
Rather than simply creating a website, I first looked at the business itself. Together, we identified opportunities to position Ramazan as an independent trekking specialist while expanding his services beyond Mount Elgon hikes alone.
The website was structured to build trust, clearly present his experience, and create a flexible foundation that could grow alongside his business.
The Result
Today, Ramazan has his own professional online presence and a direct way to reach travelers from around the world.
The website supports a broader range of activities, strengthens his credibility, and provides a foundation for long-term business growth that is no longer tied to a single booking partner.
Mulima Mountain Adventures
Taking over an unfinished website project and turning it into a professional platform ready to support a growing tourism business.
Project Highlights
✓ Website project takeover
✓ Website redesign
✓ Content restructuring
✓ Divi development
✓ Tourism website
✓ User experience improvements
✓ Technical completion
✓ Ongoing client collaboration
The Challenge
The client already had a website under development, but the project had stalled before completion. The existing structure relied heavily on a generic travel template and no longer reflected the business or its services clearly.
As progress slowed, the client was left without a finished website and without a clear path forward.
My Approach
I began by evaluating the existing website, identifying what could be reused and what needed to be rebuilt. Rather than starting over, I focused on restructuring the content, improving the overall user experience, and adapting the website to accurately represent the business.
Throughout the project, we maintained direct communication, allowing decisions to be made quickly and keeping the project moving forward.
The Result
The unfinished project became a fully functional website with a clear structure, improved usability, and content that better represents the business.
More importantly, the client finally had a professional online presence that was ready to support future growth and attract new customers.
Client Feedback
“I had the pleasure of meeting Paul personally and working with him on my website, Sipi Falls Tours. His professionalism, creativity, and technical expertise significantly improved my online presence. I can confidently recommend him to anyone looking to strengthen their digital footprint.”
“Paul helped me build a professional website for Mount Elgon Trekkers that is easy to navigate and accessible for both international and local clients. The site allows me to interact directly with customers and generate bookings independently. His work has had a real impact on my business.”
“Paul exceeded my expectations with his skills and experience. His attention to detail and ability to find innovative solutions clearly set him apart. Working with him was a pleasure, and I look forward to collaborating on future projects.”
My Own Projects
Alongside client work, I build and operate several of my own websites. These projects allow me to continuously test new ideas, evaluate SEO strategies, experiment with AI search visibility, and better understand how people find and consume information online.
The insights I gain from these real-world projects directly influence the way I approach every client website.
Sailing Anima
A sailing blog, travel resource, and long-term testing platform for SEO, content strategy, and AI-driven search.
Sailing Anima documents my journey aboard my sailboat while exploring the Caribbean and Central America.
Beyond sharing travel stories, the website serves as a practical environment where I continuously experiment with website structure, long-form content, search engine optimization, user behavior, and the growing role of AI in how people discover information.
Project Focus
✓ Long-form content strategy
✓ SEO experiments
✓ AI search visibility
✓ WordPress optimization
✓ Website performance
✓ User behavior analysis
✓ Content marketing
✓ Continuous development
Urlaub Curacao (German Website)
Helping German-speaking travelers plan their holiday while testing content strategy, local SEO, and user intent.
Urlaub Curaçao is a comprehensive travel guide created to help visitors discover the island through practical information, local recommendations, activities, accommodations, and travel tips. At the same time, it allows me to refine content strategies, analyze search behavior, and observe how travel websites continue to evolve in the age of AI.
Project Focus
✓ Tourism content strategy
✓ Local SEO
✓ Information architecture
✓ User intent optimization
✓ AI-ready content
✓ WordPress development
✓ Conversion optimization
✓ Ongoing content expansion
These are two of several online projects I currently operate. Every project gives me the opportunity to test new ideas, challenge common assumptions, and continuously improve the strategies I apply to client websites.
